Spellchecking — Hunspell
If you use Opera 10-12, download the Opera dictionary named dsb.zip
and copy it to ~/.opera/dictionaries/
on Linux. On Windows, visit opera:about, check where your profile directory resides and the dictionary file into dictionaries
subdirectory. To start spellchecking in Lower Sorbian, right-click a text field and select "Dolnoserbski".
Opera 17 and newer allow to run spellchecking only for a fixed list of languages. Therefore you need to replace a dictionary of one of these languages with the Lower Sorbian dictionary. Start Opera, right-click a text field an install Afrikaans dictionary. Download the Opera dictionary named af.zip
and copy it to directory dictionaries
inside Opera user directory, which you can find on page chrome:about. Close and start Opera again. Set "Afrikaans" when you want to check spelling in a Lower Sorbian text.
If you want to use command-line Hunspell program on Linux, download the Hunspell package and unpack it into /usr/share/myspell/dicts/
directory. Download the Opera dictionary named af.zip
